Our host families are selected for their helpfulness and kindness
- Description. Choosing to stay with a host family is the best way to discover the French way of life and to get regular language practice in a friendly atmosphere. Great care is taken in selecting our French host families. To help you settle with your host family and quickly feel at home with them, we take your age and hobbies into account.
- Bedroom. Double room (single on request only)
- Meals. Full-board - breakfast, lunch and evening meal included - packed lunch during the excursion days.
- Location of host family. Your host family is located when possible near the school for the spring and autumn program. You may have to take public transportation to go to school. However, you will be taken home by a member of our team, when evening outings are organised by Azurlingua. Except for these evenings you will have to go home by your own means (with your parents' permission and not later than 00.30 am). Most of our host families live less than 30 minutes walking distance from school. Those a little further away are always close to a bus/tramway stop.
- Transfer. You will be picked up at Nice station or airport upon arrival and taken back for departure. You must let us know the time of your arrival as well as flight number or train no later than 5 days before your arrival date. This service is available between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Arrival and departure. Students will be welcomed from 6.00 p.m on Sundays directly at the host family's home, unless a transfer service has been booked. Students will be given a key to the home and asked to consult their hosts for guidance regarding House Rules. Departure: On Saturdays before 10.00 a.m.
