1. What
is the minimal age required for attending a course?
You
must be at least 13 years of age to participate in the Teens French courses.
2. What is the lowest
level required for attending a course?
None. We offer courses for all levels from
beginners to higher advanced level.
Starting dates for A0+, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 : every Monday. For levels A0
(real beginner) and C2 (proficency) : see our dates in " prices and
dates ".

4. What is the average
duration of courses?
Easter, Spring and Autumn : 2 weeks ; Summer : 3 weeks
5. What is the best
time to register?
At least 2 months before the start date
of your French course in Nice. Last minute subscriptions are, of course,
also accepted. In this instance, especially during the busy summer period,
we cannot guarantee first choice accommodation.
6. Is it necessary
to have an insurance policy
It is recommanded to make an insurance
in your own country. European students must be in possession of an European Card.
7. When must I arrive
and when must I leave?
Arrival day is Sunday, departure day is
Saturday if accommodation is requested. It is possible to arrive on Saturday
or/and to leave on Sunday on request.
8. Do I need a visa
to study in France?
If you are not part of the EC, you should
check with the your nearest French Embassy.
9. How do I get
to my accommodation from the airport or train station?
Azurlingua provides a transfer service compulsory for minor (airport and train station).
10. Do I have to
bring books?
We recommend bringing a dictionary. Azurlingua
provides learning material and a exercize book.
11. When and how
do I pay?
250 € are requested upon registration
by credit card. (for payments with bank transfer or cheque please contact
our office). Deadline for balance payment is 2 weeks prior to arrival
12. What is the
average age of the students?
The
average age of our students is 15 during summer time and 17 during the rest of the year.
13. What kind of
accommodation do you recommend?
Host family with half board is ideal for
French improvement, rooms at Campus Central are better for those who like
the student way of life and the studios allow more freedom. In July and August we also offer confortable residence for a budget price.
14. Can I send /receive
e-mails during my stay at Azurlingua? Phone calls? Faxes?
You can receive free faxes, send paying
faxes. There are phones for those who are accommodated at the residence
Campus Central. There is also free Internet access at the school, which
can be used at our disposal.
15 Is it possible
to benefit from group prices?
If you come in a group of 5, we will reduce
the course price
16 Is it possible
to buy accommodation without courses ?
Yes, there is accommodation available in
a two-person studio apartment, a two roomed apartment for 3-4 people (please
contact us), or in July and August only in
the summer residence.
17 Is it possible
to benefit from study grants?
No.

to stay a few days longer at host family or at the Residence ?
Yes, upon availability
