Compulsory medical certificate and parental attest certifying that their child knows
how to swim (the school reserves the right to cancel a course without refund if the
student does not provide these documents upon arrival). This course is only available with the standard course and
at the Campus Jean Medecin. |
Our prices include :
instruction program and teaching equipment, selected accommodation and meals, civil liability insurance
Our prices don't include : the individual insurance, the scuba-diving program and personal expenses.
Public holidays : 05/04/10, 01/05/10, 08/05/10, 13/05/10, 14/07/10, 15/08/10, 1/11/10, 11/11/10 ; on the quoted
dates no lessons will be held and they will be neither made up nor reimbursed ; Azurlingua will be open from 3/01/10 to 18/12/10(re-opening the 2/01/11).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 Visas
If you are a citizen of the European Union you will not need a visa.
If you are not a citizen of the European Union, for a maximum stay of three
months and without particular agreements, you must request a tourist visa
from the French consulate in your own country. For a stay longer than three
months, you must request a long stay student visa, therefore giving you the
right to a ‘carte de sejour’ from the French consulate in your own
country. (Please see below "payment")
Registration
Complete the enclosed registration form and send it to us by fax or E-mail
with your authorization to withdraw 250 euros from your VISA or MC number
and expiration date. If you do not have any credit card you can pay via bank
transfer or cheque. In this case please contact our office. As soon as we
receive your registration form (by which you contract to conform to the rules
and regulations of the school and of the accommodation you have selected),
written confirmation and other useful information regarding your stay, including
a detailed invoice of your expenses, will be sent to you by mail, fax or e-mail.
In the case of a late registration
(less than 15 days before the beginning of your stay), we require you to contact
us beforehand by telephone.
Payment
The balance of your payment (see payment details below) must have reached
us, by the very latest, 15 days before the beginning of your stay without
any reminder on our part. Beyond this point, we reserve the right to decline
your place.
Should you require a visa, a deposit of 50% of the overall cost of your stay
must be sent to us with your registration form.The balance must have reached
us 15 days before the beginning of your stay. Without this payment, we cannot
issue you with the necessary ‘official invitation’ letter needed
to obtain a visa. In case the visa is not issued, Azurlingua will refund the
payment less 50 euros fees, provided we receive proof of the refusal by the
French Embassy.
Your payment must be made out in Euros and must cover all bank fees and taxation.

Very Important: As bank delays must be taken into account we kindly ask you
to send us a copy of your bank transfer by fax.
Whatever the payment is (Swift,
cheque, etc…) please make sure that your name, date and registration
number are clearly written.
Cancellation and modification
Any withdrawal or cancellation on your part over 15 days prior to arrival
will incur a 50 euros deduction on the balance returned.
Any withdrawal or cancellation on your part less than 15 days prior to arrival
will incur a 250 euros deduction from the balance returned and a 100% deduction
if you are absent on the day of arrival.
Any interrupted or modified stay on your part while at Azurlingua will not
be reimbursed.
Azurlingua reserves the right to modify a course should the number of students
be less than four. You will either get a refund or be offered a reduced number
of lessons depending on the number of students and the type of course.
Refunds will be made 4 months after notification of the cancellation to our
office
Complaint
No complaint on your part will be accepted after your departure if it has
not been brought to Azurlingua's attention during your stay. In the event
of legal dispute, the parties agree that the case shall be heard under the
sole juridiction of the courts of Nice.
Bank holidays
There is no course on French Bank holidays and the courses will neither be
refunded nor made up except for individual lessons in which case they will
be made up during the student's stay.
You can be accomodated from Sunday if Monday is a Bank holiday.
House rules
In the case of serious misconduct, the school reserves the right to ask you
to leave the school without notice. Fees will not be refunded.
Insurance
You must take out your own insurance policy that will cover you for all risks
during the length of your stay (illness, accidental damage, theft, etc…).You
must request an EHI card from your insurance company to cover you for medical
expenses.
